I love finding old vintage mail bags to turn into tote bags, but this one was truly unique. I have never come across one that was a terra cotta color with hand stitching on each side. This must be much older and truly unique. We took the mail bag and made it into a large tote, crossbody bag with both heavy leather 9oz. straps secured on with solid copper rivets, as well as a vintage terra cotta colored webbing strap for across the body. The interior is fully lined with a natural duck canvas cloth and an interior double pocket made from a vintage 1940s herringbone coverall. We also made it a flat bottom bag with adding copper rivets to the bottom side triangles.This bag has a lot of special details to it.
